The Language Department develops in its students a proficiency to understand, read, write and speak the target language to a degree comprehensible to the native speaker. Students are required to take three (3) credits of language for graduation. Students can choose to take Spanish or French; each language is offered all four years at conversational and advanced levels. Latin may also be taken as an elective.
