Annual Fund

Gifts to the Annual Fund provide critical support that enables IND to meet its annual operating expenses.

On what exactly is the Annual Fund spent? That is a fair question frequently asked. The Annual Fund goes directly into the school’s operating budget. The vast majority of the operating budget covers teachers’ salaries and benefits. Another key expense covered by the operating budget is financial aid. It covers the gap between that amount of money that lower income families can afford to pay and the actual tuition. The salaries of devoted teachers and aid to families in need—these are compelling reasons to give to the Annual Fund.

Gifts may be in the form of:

• Direct contributions by cash, check or credit card
• Gifts of appreciated securities, such as stocks
• Matching gifts from donor employers
• Planned giving by remembering IND in your will
