Visiting IND

Shadow Days

Penguin for the Day

What to expect on your Shadow Day
According to your interests or if you have a friend already here, we will pair you with a hostess. As you arrive, you will be greeted by our Ambassadors and staff, and we will give you a quick orientation for your day where you will also get to know some of the other future penguins visiting. After all, they may become your best friends in the fall! You will choose lunch from our delicious menu and visit classes where you will be greeted with enthusiasm and respect.
During your day, we will give you a tour of our building and set up an interview with one of our staff/faculty members to get to know you better. You will also be asked to complete a short writing sample where you tell us a bit more about yourself. At the end of the day, we will send you home with some fun IND Penguin swag and some memories in the making.
Pick a day that works for you and register by emailing or calling us:
Ms. Keilhauer: ckeilhauer@indofmd.org or call at 410.522.7800 ext.220
