Spring Break in Quarantine

This week IND begins spring break 2020, and while it may not be the way everyone envisioned, the Office of School Counseling says there are still ways to have fun during quarantine.

- Tune in to your parish website to stream Holy Thursday, Good Friday or Easter Sunday mass. Some parishes are even streaming Stations of the Cross and Holy Saturday service.
- Give your eyes a break from reading and screen time by trying an audiobook. The following websites are allowing free access to audiobooks with the use of your library card. Overdrive, Hoopla and Audible.
- Exercise! Go outside, let the sun hit your face and take a walk, a run or ride a bike. Physical activity is essential for the mind and body more than ever!
- Download the HBO Go app and enjoy access to selected HBO movies and HBO series for free for the month of April.
- Try free online yoga! Core Power Yoga, Do Yoga With Me, Daily Burn and Yoga With Adriene are allowing free access to most classes.
- While theatres in NYC and other cities are closed, they are providing access to plays and musicals for free! Check out Playbill to see what is available currently.
- Get a jumpstart on the college search by taking a virtual tour of a college/university of interest to you.
- Think of three things you are grateful for every day and write them down!
